These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement, collectively, the "Terms," constitute a binding agreement between you and Zero Permission LLC, referred to as "Zero Permission," "we," "us," or "our," concerning your download, installation, access to, and use of the AvoidZero mobile application and its related features, content, and services, collectively, the "App."
By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing features through, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the AvoidZero Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not download, install, access, purchase, or use the App.
Your use of Google Play and any purchases made through Google Play are also subject to the applicable Google Play terms, policies, and procedures.
You may use the App only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.
If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the App only with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
The App is intended for an adult audience and is not designed or directed to children under 13 years of age. The App's Google Play content rating does not alter these eligibility requirements or the App's intended audience.
You may not use the App if applicable law prohibits you from receiving or using the App.
AvoidZero is a local-first personal-finance forecasting, simulation, and decision-support tool for Android devices. Depending on the version and features available to you, the App may allow you to:
The App does not connect to your bank or other financial institution, access or aggregate financial accounts, hold or transfer money, execute transactions, trade securities, manage investments, or make payments on your behalf.
Features may vary based on the App version, device capabilities, geographic availability, and the features you have purchased or unlocked.

Your use of the App does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, brokerage, banking, accounting, tax, legal, or other professional relationship between you and Zero Permission.
All projections, simulations, optimization results, probability bands, risk indicators, contingency plans, runway estimates, "safe to spend" figures, and other outputs are mathematical estimates generated from user-provided data, selected assumptions, and computational models. They are not guarantees, predictions, approvals, instructions, or individualized recommendations.
Actual results may differ materially from the App's output due to changing income, expenses, interest rates, inflation, taxes, market conditions, emergencies, incomplete information, inaccurate assumptions, model limitations, and other circumstances. Results involving randomized scenarios, including Monte Carlo simulations, may differ between runs.
You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before making important financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, borrowing, repayment, or spending decisions.
You are solely responsible for:
The App does not independently verify your inputs. Inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unrealistic inputs or assumptions may produce inaccurate or misleading results.
You should not treat any contingency-planning, bill-triage, debt-payoff, spending, or "safe to spend" output as authorization to skip, delay, modify, or default on a legal or financial obligation. You are responsible for reviewing the terms of your obligations and communicating directly with the applicable creditor, service provider, taxing authority, or other party.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Zero Permission grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the App on compatible Android devices that you own or control.
This license is provided solely for your personal, lawful, and non-commercial use. It does not transfer ownership of the App or any intellectual property rights to you.
Your right to use the App is also subject to the applicable Google Play terms and any usage rules imposed by Google for applications distributed through Google Play.
Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not:
These restrictions do not prohibit conduct that applicable law expressly permits and that cannot lawfully be restricted by contract.
AvoidZero may provide users with a seven-day free trial of designated paid features. The trial is managed entirely through local storage on your device, and its availability, scope, activation method, and locally determined eligibility rules will be displayed in the App.
The trial begins when it is activated through the App, as indicated in the applicable trial screen. Unless otherwise stated in the App:
The App determines trial eligibility and access solely from locally stored trial-status information. No AvoidZero account, device identifier, Google Play trial management, or server-side eligibility check is used for the trial. Any trial is subject to the terms shown at activation and applicable law.
The App may offer optional, one-time, non-consumable purchases that unlock additional features. Available purchases may include:
The names, included features, availability, and prices of purchase options are displayed in the App and through Google Play at the time of purchase. Purchase options may change in later versions of the App.
For all purchase options offered under these Terms:
Taxes, currency conversions, and other transaction terms may be determined by Google Play based on your location and account information.
All in-app purchases are offered and processed through Google Play Billing. Google, rather than Zero Permission, processes payment credentials and the financial transaction.
Your purchase may be subject to:
Zero Permission does not receive or store your payment-card or bank-account information. Google Play Billing handles purchases. The App queries Google Play's purchase-status API to confirm entitlement and does not receive or store a purchase token, order ID, or other billing metadata. The App stores only a local entitlement flag, which is re-derived from Google Play's purchase-status API.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Play account and for purchases made through that account.
Refund requests for purchases made through Google Play must generally be submitted through Google Play and are evaluated under Google Play's policies and processes.
Zero Permission does not promise or guarantee that Google will approve a refund. Zero Permission also does not control the timing or outcome of Google's refund review.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Purchased feature access depends on Google Play's purchase records and the Google Play account used to complete the purchase. Selecting Restore Purchases causes the App to re-query Google Play's purchase-status API and re-derive the local entitlement flag for eligible purchases associated with the applicable Google Play account.
Zero Permission does not guarantee that purchased features can be restored if:

AvoidZero is designed so that user-entered financial information, profiles, assumptions, projections, simulations, optimization results, and related App content are processed and stored locally on your device.
The App does not require an AvoidZero account and does not provide Zero Permission cloud synchronization. Zero Permission does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or remote crash-reporting services in the App.
The App does not automatically transmit your user-entered financial information to Zero Permission. Certain activities may involve external services or information leaving your device at your direction, including:
Optional financial-runway notifications are generated locally on your device through Android WorkManager. The App does not use a push-notification provider or push token. If you enable notifications, the App may request Android notification permission.
Your use of the App is also governed by the AvoidZero Privacy Policy, which provides additional information about local storage, user-directed exports, Google Play Billing, support communications, security, and deletion.
You are responsible for securing your device and maintaining any backup copies you consider necessary.
The App may allow you to create local .avz backup files and CSV or PDF exports. You select when to create each file and where to save or share it. If you save or share a file through email, cloud storage, device storage, USB transfer, or another service, the file becomes subject to the security and privacy practices of the destination you select.
Zero Permission does not control and is not responsible for third-party storage or sharing destinations selected by you.
Uninstalling the App deletes the App's locally managed database and App-managed files from your device. The App excludes its data from Android backup and device-transfer mechanisms. Uninstalling the App does not delete:
Device loss, device failure, operating-system changes, uninstalling the App, deleting App data, or replacing your device may result in permanent data loss. Zero Permission does not guarantee the preservation, recovery, or restoration of local data.
The App may offer optional financial-runway or similar alerts generated locally through Android WorkManager. The App does not use a push-notification provider or push token. If you enable these features, the App may request permission to display notifications on your device.
Notifications are convenience features only. They may be delayed, suppressed, displayed incorrectly, or not delivered due to device settings, battery-management features, operating-system behavior, App configuration, or other factors.
You should not rely on an App notification as the sole reminder for a bill, payment, deadline, obligation, or financial decision.
You may disable notifications through the App or your device settings, subject to the available technical controls.
The App and all associated rights, title, and interests are owned by Zero Permission or its licensors. Protected materials may include:
These Terms grant only the limited license described above. No other license or right is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
AvoidZero, Zero Permission, and associated names, logos, and brand elements are or may be trademarks of Zero Permission LLC. You may not use them in a manner that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship without prior written permission.
The App is distributed through Google Play and uses Google Play Billing for purchases. Google and its services are independent from Zero Permission and are governed by Google's own terms, policies, and privacy practices.
The App may also interact with device-level functions or third-party services you select, such as:
Zero Permission does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, privacy practices, content, terms, or performance of Google or another third-party service.
A third-party service may change, suspend, or discontinue its functionality without notice to Zero Permission.
Zero Permission may release updates, corrections, enhancements, security changes, or new versions of the App. An update may add, modify, limit, or remove features, interfaces, purchase options, compatibility, or functionality.
Certain updates may be required for continued use of the App or particular features. Your ability to receive updates may depend on your device, Android version, geographic location, Google Play account, and Google Play availability.
Zero Permission does not guarantee that:
Zero Permission may suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, subject to applicable law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZERO PERMISSION AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, INCOME, SAVINGS, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, DATA, OR USE.
This limitation applies to claims arising from or relating to:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZERO PERMISSION'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP AND ITS FEATURE UNLOCKS.
The exclusions and limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if Zero Permission was advised that damages were possible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain damages exclusions or liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by stopping use of and uninstalling the App.
Zero Permission may suspend or terminate your license if:
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions addressing intellectual property, financial and professional disclaimers, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution.
Termination or uninstallation does not itself entitle you to a refund except as required by Google Play policy or applicable law.
You are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to your access to and use of the App.
The App may be available in multiple countries and localized versions. Availability does not represent that the App or its content is appropriate, legally compliant, or suitable for use in every jurisdiction.
If you use the App outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
Nothing in these Terms waives mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your place of residence and cannot lawfully be waived.
Zero Permission may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the App, purchases, legal requirements, business practices, or third-party services.
When the Terms are updated, Zero Permission will revise the Last Updated date and may provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
Your continued use of the App after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a revision, you must stop using and uninstall the App.
Changes will not retroactively reduce mandatory rights that accrued before the revised Terms became effective.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or jurisdictional rights that apply to you, any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App must be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in Colorado. You and Zero Permission consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your license without Zero Permission's prior written consent.
Zero Permission may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, transfer of the App or related business, or operation of law.
Any attempted assignment contrary to this section is void to the extent permitted by law.
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
A failure or delay by Zero Permission to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
These Terms, together with the AvoidZero Privacy Policy and any purchase terms displayed through the App or Google Play, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zero Permission concerning the App.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and specific purchase terms displayed at the time of a transaction, the specific purchase terms control solely with respect to that transaction, subject to applicable law and Google Play requirements.
